What Is PRP
A platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial treatment is a more natural cosmetic procedure that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the face. PRP is a blood component that contains growth factors and other proteins that stimulate cellular recovery. PRP injections into the skin can improve texture and tone, decrease wrinkles, and stimulate new collagen formation.
PRP can potentially be utilized as an effective hair restoration treatment. It is also used to treat injuries in sports medicine. Your results will take weeks to months to manifest, although many see a difference in their skin immediately following treatment. The full advantages arrive during the collagen remodeling phase, when your skin not only becomes more evenly toned and radiant, but also rebuilds itself to fix concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.
PRP has the following advantages:
• tighter skin
• firmer skin
• fewer creases and wrinkles
• More flexible and elastic skin
• Fewer dark spots
• Smaller pores
• Healthy glow
You will notice a more youthful healthy appearance when your skin has been restored and revitalized using PRP. The effects can persist for up to 18 months or longer depending on how well you care for yourself.
How Does It Work
Plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are all components of our blood. Platelets aid in blood clotting and the production of growth factor proteins, which are required for healing. Platelets from your blood are used in PRP face rejuvenation to help heal and revitalize your skin. Growth factors are essential for keeping our skin firm and full of elastin. First we draw a small sample of your blood. Then we spin that vial of blood in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the red and white blood cells. This method concentrates platelets and elevates their count many times higher than usual. Once the PRP is separated it is then injected into your skin.
